Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.30 to 16.00 (Overtime is often required depending on the contract's requirements and early starts and late finishes are sometimes required).

Specialist Joinery Projects Ltd are specialists in the manufacture of contemporary and architectural joinery. We are looking to recruit a bench joiner to work within our successful team based at our workshop in Basildon, Essex.

The ideal candidate would have previous bench joinery experience and must be able to work on their own initiative guided by our works managers. Works that can be expected include:

  • Cabinetry Works
  • Reception Desks
  • Bespoke Doors & Frames
  • Windows
  • Other non-standard joinery

Our works are quite diverse depending upon our clients' requirements; the inclusion of other (non-joinery) materials such as metalwork, solid surface materials etc. are often adopted. The candidate would be expected to be able to interpolate information given to them from our Works Manager via Cutting Sheets, Working Drawings and Schedules.
