SPECIALIST INSTRUMENT SERVICES (SIS) is your one-stop solution for test instrument supply, repair, calibration, and hire services, operating out of Norwich and Wimbledon. We offer services for a variety of instruments including electrical, pressure, thermal imagery, light, sound, and airflow. Our accredited BSI labs ensure high-quality calibration and repair services. We provide expert advice on instrument supply and offer a user-friendly online portal for managing test instruments, including reminders for recalibration dates and downloadable calibration certificates. Our highly skilled engineers are both industry-trained and manufacturer-approved.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Proactive Outbound Telemarketer. The telemarketer will be responsible for reaching out to existing and potential clients to generate leads and set appointments, promoting company products and services, and providing exceptional customer service. Daily tasks include cold calling, emailing prospects, following up on leads, and maintaining detailed records of interactions. The role aims to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction while working collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams.

To succeed in this role you must:
> Be confident & tenacious and comfortable in colding calling potential new customers
> Possess the drive to assist the business to achieve their sales targets
> Be a strong and ideally technically-minded salesperson
> Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a natural flair for relationship building
> Be proficient with microsoft office and computer literate
Previous Sales experience within the Electrical or associated trades would be advantageous but not essential
