Role Overview

Specialist Group are recruiting for a Health and Safety administrator to join their busy Health, Safety and Environmental Team.

This role will support the business on all aspects of Health and Safety, to establish, monitor and manage standards, processes, communications, documentation, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated within the Health and Safety function within Specialist Group are adhered to.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build and develop strong working relationships across a range of functions and locations.
  • Promotion of our health and safety ethos and culture at all levels within the Company and with our subcontractors
  • Review relevant company and sub-contractor’s paperwork, including existing procedures and forms.
  • Preparation and completion of O&M and RAMS based on business needs.
  • Support internal audits and ISO Management Systems.
  • Contribute to Health and Safety initiatives and campaigns across the business.
  • Provide general support to ensure the effective running of the HSE function.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrate effective communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritise work and deadlines.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
