To support this ambition, we are seeking a Group Revenue Growth Director to lead the commercial growth strategy across all divisions of the Group. This is a high‑impact executive leadership role responsible for creating, driving and delivering the Group’s revenue growth agenda whilst ensuring alignment across our specialist business units.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Group Leadership Team, the Group Revenue Growth Director will be accountable for identifying, creating and converting growth opportunities across all business divisions. The successful candidate will oversee revenue strategy across Specialist Joinery, Specialist Glass & Metal and emerging business units, ensuring the organisation is positioned to achieve its ambitious growth targets. This role combines strategic thinking with operational execution. You will work closely with Managing Directors, Project Directors and commercial leaders to identify market opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, expand geographical reach and develop sustainable growth channels. You will play a leading role in shaping the future direction of Specialist Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a Group-wide revenue growth strategy aligned with the company’s long-term vision. Identify new market opportunities, sectors and client relationships. Build growth plans for existing and emerging business units. Create scalable growth initiatives capable of supporting the Group’s progression towards £100m+ revenue.
- Business Development Leadership: Lead and coordinate business development activity across all Group divisions. Strengthen relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, contractors and strategic partners. Establish new routes to market and improve market penetration across target sectors.
- Market Expansion: Evaluate and develop expansion opportunities across new geographical markets. Support strategic growth initiatives within London and wider UK regions. Explore international opportunities, including potential entry strategies for North American markets.
- Leadership & Alignment: Lead, coach and develop high-performing commercial and business development teams. Align revenue generation activities across multiple business units. Foster collaboration between sales, operations, design and project delivery functions.
- Commercial Performance: Establish and monitor key revenue performance metrics. Drive accountability across growth initiatives. Regularly report progress against strategic growth targets to the Group Leadership Team.
- Customer & Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements. Use market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and future investments.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience: Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth within construction, fit‑out, manufacturing, specialist subcontracting or related sectors. Experience leading multi-disciplinary commercial or business development teams. Demonstrated success building strategic growth plans and executing them successfully. Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships at senior executive level. Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
Preferred Experience: Experience operating within specialist construction, fit‑out, joinery, façade, architectural metalwork, glazing or related sectors. Experience supporting geographical expansion initiatives. Exposure to international market development. Experience operating within entrepreneurial, high‑growth businesses.
