ASSISTANT CHILD CARE PRACTITIONERS (BANK) with Specialist Education Services
Specialist Education Services is looking for Assistant Child Care Practitioners to work on an ad hoc basis at our nationally renowned dual-registered children’s homes and residential special schools; Avocet House (near Loddon) and Turnstone House (near Beccles). You will join our teams to support our children in a fast working dynamic environment. The opportunity will give you a fascinating insight into supporting children with complex social, emotional and mental health needs who have often experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
Successful candidates will receive:
- £16.04 per hour

You will work to provide a family environment, nurturing and educating children in life skills and their personal, emotional and social development.
As our homes provide care and nurture for children 24 hours a day, the position involves working a variety of hours to cover annual leave and staff sickness. We will contact you with as much notice as possible and you can decide if you are able to work the hours required. Due to the nature of the role you will be required to have a full UK driving licence and your own transport, parking is always available at both sites.
