We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join in an engineering and design capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer who is confident working in an OT environment at a CCIE level.

Your responsibilities as the Network Engineer:

  • Lead network engineering activities, including design and implementation across core infrastructure.
  • Act as the lead Network Engineer across data centres and site networking environments.
  • Deliver and support Cisco switching within data centres and Juniper networking across sites.
  • Perform advanced fault analysis and troubleshooting across complex network environments.
  • Work with SolarWinds for network monitoring, ensuring performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with security teams, maintaining a strong understanding of Firewalls (non-operational ownership).
  • Support Network Access Control (NAC) design and implementation.
  • Contribute to Operational Technology (OT) network activities where required.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota (6pm - 8am), including call-out support where necessary.

As a successful Network Engineer, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a Network Engineer or Lead Network Engineer role.
  • CCIE certification (mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in Cisco switching within data centre environments.
  • Experience working with Juniper networks in distributed site environments.
  • Advanced fault-finding and analytical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
  • Good understanding of Firewall technologies and network security principles.
  • Knowledge of NAC (Network Access Control).
  • Exposure to OT networks (highly desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery within tight timeframes.
