We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join in an engineering and design capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a Network Engineer who is confident working in an OT environment at a CCIE level.
Your responsibilities as the Network Engineer:
- Lead network engineering activities, including design and implementation across core infrastructure.
- Act as the lead Network Engineer across data centres and site networking environments.
- Deliver and support Cisco switching within data centres and Juniper networking across sites.
- Perform advanced fault analysis and troubleshooting across complex network environments.
- Work with SolarWinds for network monitoring, ensuring performance and availability.
- Collaborate with security teams, maintaining a strong understanding of Firewalls (non-operational ownership).
- Support Network Access Control (NAC) design and implementation.
- Contribute to Operational Technology (OT) network activities where required.
- Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota (6pm - 8am), including call-out support where necessary.
As a successful Network Engineer, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Network Engineer or Lead Network Engineer role.
- CCIE certification (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in Cisco switching within data centre environments.
- Experience working with Juniper networks in distributed site environments.
- Advanced fault-finding and analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
- Good understanding of Firewall technologies and network security principles.
- Knowledge of NAC (Network Access Control).
- Exposure to OT networks (highly desirable).
- Ability to work independently and lead technical delivery within tight timeframes.
