We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect - Disaster Recovery Resilience (SC Cleared) to provide architectural assurance, technical challenge and recovery design insight across business-critical services. This role is ideal for a Solution Architect - Disaster Recovery Resilience who can assess existing and proposed recovery solutions and shape improved resilience approaches where gaps or inefficiencies exist.
Your responsibilities as the Solution Architect - Disaster Recovery Resilience:
- Conduct detailed analysis of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outputs to understand application criticality, recovery objectives and service interdependencies.
- Assess existing and proposed disaster recovery and cloud recovery designs, validating suitability against business needs and RTO/RPO requirements.
- Provide architectural challenge to ensure recovery approaches are technically sound, operationally realistic and cost effective.
- Analyse application recovery scenarios, including severe loss scenarios such as total environment wipe.
- Define what 'good recovery' looks like across different application and platform contexts.
- Work closely with business, technology and operational stakeholders.
