The SC Cleared IMAC Engineer is responsible for delivering Install, Move, Add and Change activities across end-user devices and workplace technologies. The role supports day-to-day operational needs as well as project-based deployments, ensuring all equipment is configured, installed and maintained to organisational standards.
Your responsibilities as a SC Cleared IMAC Engineer:
- Carry out device installations, relocations, upgrades and decommissions across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
- Install, configure and test equipment including operating systems, applications, drivers and network settings.
- Assist users during device handovers, resolve basic technical issues and ensure smooth transitions during moves or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of devices, serial numbers, locations and life cycle status within asset tracking systems.
- Prepare devices using standard builds, imaging tools and configuration scripts.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues encountered during IMAC tasks.
- Complete work logs, update tickets and ensure all changes are recorded in line with ITIL processes.
- Follow organisational policies for data protection, device sanitisation and secure handling.
