We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join an onsite programme in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with deep expertise in NSX-T, VMware AVI, and HCI to drive secure, scalable, and automated network solutions within a mission-critical environment.
Your responsibilities as the Senior Network Engineer:
- Design, implement, and maintain network architectures within hyperconverged infrastructure environments using NSX-T and VMware AVI.
- Lead the deployment and configuration of NSX-T components, including logical networking, distributed Firewalling, load balancing, and VPN services.
- Enable advanced network virtualisation and micro-segmentation strategies.
- Deploy and manage VMware AVI load balancers to support modern application delivery, automation, and analytics.
- Ensure high availability, performance optimisation, and robust security across network services.
- Design and maintain identity and access management solutions aligned to tiered access models.
- Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments.
- Produce and maintain documentation including network designs, configuration records, change logs, and operational procedures.
