Warehouse Administrator - Β£13.45 per hour - 12 Month Contract - Birmingham - Onsite - SCC Flex Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Administrator with experience in export documentation, logistics coordination, and warehouse administration to support international shipping and warehouse operations. The successful Warehouse Administrator will play a key role in ensuring goods are moved efficiently, accurately, and compliantly to customers worldwide.

Your responsibilities as the Warehouse Administrator:

  • Provide export guidance, prepare documentation, and liaise with carriers to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of export orders.
  • Track and monitor outbound shipments, providing regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all export activities comply with HMRC requirements, Incoterms, and relevant international trade regulations.
  • Maintain accurate export records for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse administration activities, including goods-in, goods-out, stock movements, and order processing.
  • Action administrative tasks and task manager tickets as required.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support the flow of information and order progression.
  • Track deliveries and work with carrier partners to ensure timely shipment and resolution of any delivery issues.
  • Support operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement within warehouse and export functions.

As a successful Warehouse Administrator, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Administrator or in a similar export, logistics, or supply chain role.
  • Experience working within a warehouse, distribution, or fulfilment environment.
  • Good working knowledge of export documentation and international shipping processes.
  • Understanding of HMRC requirements, Incoterms, and export compliance regulations.
  • Experience using ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience liaising with freight forwarders and global logistics providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
