The SC Cleared EUC Engineer is responsible for delivering secure, reliable and well-managed end-user computing services across the organisation. The role focuses on endpoint configuration, security tooling, policy management and supporting enterprise-scale device environments. The engineer will work across build, deployment, optimisation and operational support activities, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and security frameworks.
Your responsibilities as a SC Cleared EUC Engineer:
- Group Policy Management (GPO) - Create, maintain and troubleshoot GPOs to enforce security baselines, configuration standards and user policies.
- SCCM/MECM Administration - Manage application packaging, OS deployment, patching, compliance baselines and device collections.
- Defendpoint & Endpoint Security - Configure and support Defendpoint policies, privilege management and endpoint hardening.
- IDAC (Identity Access Controls) - Support identity-based access controls, conditional access and device compliance rules.
- Active Directory - Manage AD objects, OU structures, group memberships and authentication-related troubleshooting.
- EPO (McAfee ePO) - Administer endpoint protection policies, AV deployments, threat responses and compliance reporting.
- Build & Deployment - Support Windows 10/11 builds, imaging, Autopilot/SCCM task sequences and standard operating environments.
- EUC Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve issues across OS, applications, profiles, policies and endpoint security tools.
- Documentation & Governance - Maintain technical documentation, follow change control and contribute to EUC standards and governance.
As a suitable SC Cleared EUC Engineer, you will have:
- Strong experience with Windows 10/11, endpoint configuration and device life cycle management.
- Proficiency in GPO, including policy design, testing and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM for deployments, patching and compliance.
- Knowledge of Defendpoint, EPO, and other endpoint security platforms.
- Understanding of IDAC, identity-based security and conditional access.
- Solid grounding in Active Directory, including OU design and group management.
- Familiarity with Intune, Autopilot or hybrid-joined environments is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Active SC Clearance.
