Network Consultant in Antrim

Overview

Network Consultant (DV cleared) – £600/day via umbrella – 6-month contract – Belfast Onsite – SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are looking for an experienced DV Cleared Network Consultant with strong hands-on experience and a passion for network design and emerging technologies. While this is primarily a Cisco environment, we are seeking someone who can go beyond day-to-day operations and contribute to strategic network planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Network Consultant, providing expertise in design, architecture, and implementation.
• Lead Cisco network configuration and support
• Perform hands-on network engineering tasks as required.
• Explore and recommend emerging technologies to enhance network performance and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business needs.

Qualifications

• Active DV Clearance (mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer in complex environments.
• CCIE certification (or equivalent expertise).
• Strong Cisco networking skills (design, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Ability to balance hands-on work with high-level consultancy and design.
