Special Steels Ltd (SSL) are a market leader within the heat treatment industry. As a result of an increased workload, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our successful business. The role will be shop floor based carrying out scheduled maintenance and dealing with day to day breakdowns and emergencies as and when they occur.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, fix faults and respond to emergency breakdowns within and outside basic working hours.
- Organise and work with subcontractors.
- Create permits to work and carry out contractor inductions.
- Ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner with minimal disruption to production.
- Make sure that Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
