STW (Non Destructive) Ltd is based in Sheffield and offers in-house and on-site testing services to a varied customer base which includes the Chemical, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Medical, Nuclear and General Engineering industries.

To support our continued expansion and customer demand, the following vacancies have arisen for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our well-established Company.

The ideal candidate will be an engineer with non-destructive testing experience looking to join a well-established business in a permanent role offering long-term job security, hands-on one-to-one training with industry experts and further career progression.

  • Candidates without previous NDT experience, who show an enthusiasm for learning, may be considered.
  • GCSE’s grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and Science are advantageous.
  • Full training and career progression is available to the right individual.
  • Brief outline of duties once qualified include maintaining equipment and calibration system, inspecting and reporting, defect sizing, on and off-site inspections for customers, reading and understanding specifications/procedures/techniques.
  • Mon-Fri 8hrs a day.
  • This role will be minimum wage, with a considerable pay-rise once PCN qualified.
  • Opportunities for further development and training.
