Are you an experienced NDT Technician looking for a role where your skills are valued, your development is supported, and your work genuinely matters? At STW (Non-Destructive) Ltd, we’ve built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality in-house and on-site Non-Destructive Testing across industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Nuclear, Medical, and General Engineering. Based in Sheffield and continuing to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled technician to join our friendly, established team.
About the Role
We are seeking a PCN Level 2 qualified technician with strong practical experience in ultrasonic inspection of forgings and wrought products. Additional Level 2 qualifications in MT, PT or VT would be a real advantage.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain equipment and calibration systems to the highest standards
- Perform inspections and produce accurate, detailed reports
- Identify, assess and size defects
- Carry out in-house and on-site inspections for a wide range of clients
- Interpret specifications, procedures and techniques with confidence
What We’re Looking For
- PCN Level 2 with strong practical experience in ultrasonic inspection of forgings and wrought products
- Additional Level 2 qualifications in MT, PT or VT are a real advantage
- Someone who is enthusiastic, professional and enjoys working within a skilled team
