We are looking for a Materials Information Coordinator to join our team at Special Steels Ltd in Sheffield. Originally established in 1925, we are the UK s largest independent Nadcap-accredited heat treatment company, operating over 50 furnaces to process everything from engineering-grade materials to advanced superalloys. Complementing this is our full supply division, which specializes in low-alloy grades. We are looking to grow our vital technical team the crucial link in aligning our extensive plant capabilities with our customers precise expectations and high standards. The Role * Data Extraction: Review customer purchase orders to accurately extract and transfer critical production variables including quantities, product forms, dimensions, material grades, and unique identifications into our bespoke software system. * Technical Process Configuration: Review customer purchase orders, technical documentation and historic data to calculate precise heat treatment parameters including temperatures, cycle times, and quench media and accurately program these into our bespoke software. * Requirement Clarification
