Are you an innovative, dynamic person who wants to make a positive difference to SEND children and their families across Cornwall & Devon?
We are seeking a candidate to join a well-established, friendly and specialist education Trust team. You will be confident in your knowledge of SEND, have awareness of specialist strategies to support children with SEND and be an excellent communicator. The job involves working with Multidisciplinary Teams, School leadership, all School staff, Trust staff and governors so you will be organised and forward thinking to get the best outcomes for the children with whom we work.
I can assure candidates that no two days are the same so you will need to be able to prioritise work, attentively listen, provide reassurance, teach, coach, train and mentor others, and maintain relationships.
The role will involve travelling to work with school leaders, to observe and advise, leading individual teaching/CPD sessions and offering bespoke training and support, based on action-based research, innovate SEND best practice.
Alongside working with the children, young people, staff and families, candidates will possess strong IT skills as you will be required to report, articulate complex pupil data/information on a very regular basis.
