Established in 2008, SPEAR-UK Ltd is a friendly and motivated team trading in dairy ingredients and animal feed products, operating in the Pan-European market. Family-owned and operated, we are known for integrity, diligence, and professionalism. Our portfolio includes various bulk dairy products such as raw milk, skimmed milk, cream, butter, liquid concentrates, milk powders, cheese, ancillary additives and animal feed rations. We ensure the right product solution is delivered promptly through detailed collaboration with suppliers and clients.

This is a full-time role for an Accounts Administrator, located in Llandrillo, Denbighshire. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
  • Receipt, reconciliation and processing of all invoicing.
  • Interaction with the Company Cash-flow planning to ensure payments to suppliers are achieved within the agreed terms.
  • Preparation of financial information for submission to 3rd party Accountant for end of year accounts.
  • Supporting the company’s activities to ensure it meets its Food Safety & Quality objectives in accordance with the Quality Manual.
  • Identifying potential areas for business improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Numerate
  • Detailed thinking
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Accountancy training to AAT 3 or equivalent expertise
  • Microsoft Office 365 Competence especially Excel
  • Self-motivation and strong work ethic
  • Experience of working for a BRCGS Certified company.
