An exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Auditor to join a growing Practice with offices across the North East. This role is available in either Newcastle or Durham.
As an Audit Senior you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.
This role goes beyond compliance—it’s an opportunity to influence audit quality, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a forward-thinking, technology-driven audit function.

- The Rol
- Lead and deliver statutory audits from planning through to completion, including leading and working within on-site audit teams where require
- Use digital audit tools and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and insight across engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and supporting them with audit-related querie
- Review work completed by junior team members and offer guidance, coaching and feedback to support their developmen
- Collaborate closely with managers, senior managers and partners to ensure high-quality audit deliver
- Complete assignments in line with internal quality standards and support continuous improvement initiative
- Participate in departmental discussions, contributing ideas to enhance audit processes and team performanc
- Attend client sites predominantly across the North-East and Yorkshir

- Working towards ACA or ACCA qualification with at least two + years of audit experienc
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses and SME
- Experience delivering or leading audit
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritie
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident with clients across all format
- High level of attention to detail and accurac
- Strong IT capability, including Excel and audit-related softwar
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to use initiativ
- Ability to travel to client sites as require
- Experience with software such as Sage, Quick Books Online, and Xer
- Sector experience including charities, academies or legal practice
- Experience with Iris, Caseware or My Work Paper
