EXCLUSIVE ROLE - Financial Manager - Middlesbrough circa £50k+bonus

We are working exclusively with a very successful growing business who are seeking an ambitious finance professional to join their senior leadership team as a Finance Manager. You will work closely with the MD who is willing to develop and really embed you into the business.

What is necessary?

  • An ambitious number two who is not a "number cruncher" but is passionate about learning the business as a whole in order to have an impact on strategic decision making.
  • A forward thinker who is willing to propose ideas for business improvements, growth and profitability.
  • Someone with a keen and genuine interest in AI, Power BI and how this can be utilised to enhance business performance.

Responsibilities

This role will include all aspects of running the day to day finance department ranging from cashflow control, budgeting, reporting, management accounts, banking, treasury, liaising with banking partners as well as leading a small team of finance professionals. The role requires you to get your hands dirty and "do the do".
