Full job description Quantity Surveyor – Bishop Auckland Spear-Heads are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist subcontractor based in Bishop Auckland for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Must be able to travel overnight as and when needed Hybrid, 1 day office, 2 to 3 days onsite and 1 day remote Key Responsibilities Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts Manage subcontractor payments, enquiries and orders Produce material take-offs from drawings Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial performance Prepare financial reports and forecasts Work closely with estimating, design, purchasing and contracts teams Support cost control and recovery of additional costs Requirements Specialist subcontractor experience essential Cladding/building envelope experience preferred Strong commercial and negotiation skills Confident communicator with a proactive approach Able to manage deadlines and multiple contracts £35,000 - £45,000 Company car Bonuses Fuel card Company credit card
