About Us

We are a dynamic exhibition design and build company specialising in bespoke exhibition stands for clients across a range of industries. We manage projects from initial concept and design through to workshop production and on-site installation both in the UK and internationally. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

As Project Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of exhibition stand projects, working closely with our design, workshop, logistics, and on-site build teams. You will be responsible for coordinating proposals, managing client relationships, planning all logistics, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This role would suit someone with prior experience in the exhibition build environment, shopfitting, carpentry, or a related joinery/fabrication field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Work closely with the design team to develop and propose layouts, concepts, and design solutions to clients. Translate design concepts into practical build plans, ensuring feasibility and clarity for workshop teams. Plan project timelines, budgets, and resourcing in line with client requirements.
  • Workshop & Production Coordination: Liaise with carpenters, joiners, and workshop teams to specify construction methods, materials, and build requirements. Assist with material sourcing, procurement, and specification checks. Oversee quality control and ensure all elements are built to spec.
  • Logistics & On-Site Management: Manage all project logistics including transport, crew travel, accommodation, equipment, and on-site schedules. Lead-site during build and breakdown phases, managing the installation crew and ensuring safe, efficient installation. Maintain stand appearance, cleanliness, and functionality throughout the exhibition show.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Attend live exhibition show days to support the client, resolve issues, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Provide clear, proactive communication and updates at every stage.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in exhibition stand builds OR shopfitting / carpentry / joinery environments.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills with an ability to multi-task across several projects.
  • An understanding (not necessarily high level) of construction materials, fabrication methods, and workshop processes.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, and input to layout design.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid working pattern: typically 3 days in the office / 2 days from home. Flexibility required: some weeks may require up to 5 days in the office depending on project demands.
  • Travel and on-site work at exhibitions (including occasional weekends and extended days during build periods).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally and spend periods away from home.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile exhibition projects worldwide.
  • Collaborative team environment with an experienced design and workshop team.
  • Varied, fast-paced role with autonomy and responsibility.
  • Professional development opportunities within a growing company.
