Overview
A sports marketing agency working with some of the biggest partnerships in global motorsport is hiring an Account Executive to join their Partner Management team in London. This is a permanent, full-time role based on a hybrid pattern of three days in the office. The salary is Β£29,500.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day delivery of a flagship F1 team partnership across EMEA and Asia Pacific
- Maintain and update asset trackers, request trackers, status documents and rights inventories
- Place and manage merchandise orders and asset requests, ensuring accurate tracking and timely delivery
- Take and circulate meeting notes with clear action tracking and follow-up
- Assist with client presentations, reports and toolkits
- Coordinate logistics and deliverables with internal teams and external suppliers
- Support approvals processes, rights requests and activation delivery
- Maintain accurate records of partnership assets and usage across the season
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and agency partners
Requirements
Must-haves
- 1-2 years in a marketing, sponsorship or events role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confident managing multiple tasks and shifting deadlines
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Genuine passion for Formula 1 and brand partnerships
- Natural instinct for fast-moving, pressured environments
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Exposure to live events or hospitality logistics
What Success Looks Like
- The team can rely on you to hold the operational detail without being chased
- Priorities shift mid-week and nothing gets dropped
- You make confident, sensible calls under pressure, including when plans change at short notice
- You are visibly contributing to the account within weeks, not months
- The wider team sees you as a dependable, proactive presence across the season
Team and Culture
- A small, experienced account team working on a high-profile, fast-moving brief
- High standards and a collaborative environment where everyone pulls their weight
- Self-starters are valued, people who wait to be told what to do next tend to struggle
- The work is genuinely varied and the F1 calendar gives it a rhythm and energy that is hard to find elsewhere
Challenges
- Plans change without warning. A race delay, a cancelled booking, a client request the night before an event for a guestlist of 90 - these situations require a confident call, not a long escalation chain
- The pace is real and sustained across the full season, not just at peak moments
- You will be expected to take ownership early, so anyone who needs close direction to get started will find this role difficult
- The interview process moves quickly, with a task and presentation stage aiming for a three-week turnaround, so be ready to show your thinking, not just your CV
