Speak Street is looking for qualified experienced ESOL teachers to join our freelance teachers pool. We were founded as a positive response to negativity directed towards newcomers. We teach non-accredited community classes through our fun social learning method. Our classes suit teachers with a positive flexible approach who are used to teaching mixed abilities. We teach online and in person in London.
Responsibilities:
- Teach ESOL to learners in online and in-person classes in London as part of our freelance teachers pool.
Qualifications:
- Qualified ESOL teacher with experience.
- Ability to teach mixed abilities.
- Comfort with online and in-person teaching.
Volunteer opportunities:
We are also looking for volunteers to support our Tuesday online class supporting refugee learners to improve their English. The class is 11-12 who are used to interacting on Zoom including sharing screens and annotating the screen.
