Wanted: a commercial operator with real flair for the big occasion. Someone who can fill a venue on a wet Tuesday in February, not just a sunny Saturday in August. This is a rare one. A destination resort with dining, bars, leisure and entertainment, plus a serious events business: corporate conferences, large private functions and ticketed events for paying guests. The brief is to own all of it and grow all of it, from every room and every date to every pound of spend per head.

What you’ll own:

  • Full P&L accountability: revenue, yield, margin, EBITDA
  • The events engine: corporate conferencing, private functions, ticketed and seasonal events, from first enquiry to the final encore
  • Commercial growth: corporate accounts, agency relationships, pricing, packaging and sales strategy
  • The whole guest operation: food, drink, leisure, entertainment
  • A large, multidisciplinary team, and the culture that holds it together
  • Standards that bring people back: NPS, rebookings, five-star reviews
  • A resort, destination or large-venue leader who has grown a serious P&L, not just protected one
  • Real events pedigree. You’ve sold, priced and delivered big corporate and paying-guest events at scale
  • A sharp commercial operator who knows forecasting, yield, sales teams and client relationships inside out
  • People-first and relentless on standards. Just as comfortable in front of the biggest client in the room as on the floor
  • Open to relocation, because this is a destination role
