After many years of loyal service, a long-standing leader is heading for imminent retirement - and that opens a rare door. I'm partnering, on a retained and strictly confidential basis, with a fast-growing, institutionally-backed hospitality group to find their next Property Director. This is the strategic property and capital lead for a sizeable UK portfolio - and it’s a build, not a babysit.
What makes it worth a conversation:
- Own the capital strategy for a large, multi-owner estate
- Shape the future property function - you’re not inheriting someone else’s blueprint
- Direct exposure to sophisticated institutional owners
- Real room to drive the energy & sustainability agenda
- A culture that actually values its people and rewards delivery
The remit:
Plan and deliver capital programmes end to end - brief, design, tender, execute - across branded environments. Protect asset value, keep the governance tight, lead the property, facilities and energy team, and be the trusted voice owners lean on.
You’ll likely be:
A commercially sharp leader with a track record on large-scale capital delivery. Financially fluent, comfortable in front of owners, strong on building legislation and tender governance. Hotels experience is welcome - but I’m equally keen on exceptional operators from other multi-site worlds (leisure, retail, healthcare, professional practice).
The package:
Senior, board-facing six-figure base, commensurate with experience, plus performance bonus, car/allowance, family private medical, pension and life cover. UK-based, with travel to sites and the support office as required - not desk-bound.
Everything handled discreetly. If you’re curious, please reach out for a confidential chat.
