We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Distribution Engineer to manage and supervise the distribution of electrical power.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing power distribution projects, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of electricity to our customers. Your duties will include analysing electrical systems, creating project plans, supervising teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Electrical Power Systems, Project and Man Management Skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities- Design, monitor and improve Power Distribution Systems.
- Conduct system analyses and recommend optimal power distribution solutions.
- Coordinate and supervise team members, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and government policies.
- Prepare technical reports and document project progress.
- Interact with Customers, Stakeholders, and Team Members to maintain project transparency.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair services as required.

The New Team Member- BSc in Electrical Engineering, preferably with Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or working towards it.
- Proven experience as a Power Distribution Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in substation primary plant design.
- Strong knowledge of Power Distribution Systems and electrical engineering principles.
- Experience in power system studies and earthing design.
- Experience in Project Management and Team Leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings and Blueprints.
- Excellent communication, report writing skills, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Software, Inventor, and other relevant electrical design and analytical software.
