My client is a world-leading organisation that designs, develops, and manufactures high-quality equipment. They are currently looking for a Planning Coordinator to join their Northampton based team. Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm Benefits: * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Private medical insurance * Enhanced overtime pay (x1.5 rate) * Company-provided uniform * Ongoing training and development * Employee recognition schemes * Regular team events * Clear pathways for internal progression Duties to include, but not limited to: * Plan production activities in line with demand forecasts and customer requirements * Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing data are up to date and accurate * Maintain strong communication and coordination with team leaders across departments * Monitor and manage stock levels to stay within agreed limits * Implement LEAN manufacturing practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste * Liaise with global teams to support wider business needs * Work closely with the sales team to provide accurate updates on product availability and lead times * Take responsibility for tracking components as they move through the production process The person: * Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal * Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a planning or production coordination role * Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP system * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * A proactive approach and ability to work collaboratively
