The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Project Manager to join a large-scale government programme.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects within complex environments and will also bring previous experience in

Business Analysis , enabling them to effectively engage stakeholders, understand requirements, and support business change activities.

This is a delivery-focused Project Management role, with Business Analysis experience providing additional value in stakeholder engagement and requirements management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure effective governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and support requirements gathering where necessary.
  • Drive delivery against agreed scope, budget, and timescales.
  • Provide regular updates to programme leadership and governance boards.
  • Manage project risks and implement appropriate mitigation actions.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a
  • Project Manager
  • Experience delivering projects within government, public sector, or regulated environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing project governance, reporting, risks, and delivery milestones.
  • Previous

Business Analysis experience , including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and business process analysis.

  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting business change or transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • PRINCE2, APM, Agile, or equivalent project management certification.
