As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves ensuring the quality of solutions by thoroughly executing manual tests aligned with defined requirements, user stories, and expected behaviours. This role includes designing detailed test cases, meticulously identifying and documenting any defects, and working closely with delivery teams to support the release of reliable and user-ready products. The position demands continuous attention to detail and collaboration to maintain high standards throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve testing processes and methodologies within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their testing skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong analytical skills to design comprehensive test cases and identify defects effectively.
