Sparta Global are hiring a Salesforce Platform Lead to establish and lead a UK-based Salesforce platform team that can own, operate, and evolve Salesforce as a strategic capability, moving beyond pure configuration into integration, automation, and DevOps-aligned delivery. This role will be hired to be deployed into a world-leading insurance provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical and operational health of the Salesforce platform, including administration, incident management, and lifecycle management (environments, data, access, GDPR considerations).
  • Act as the technical authority for Salesforce configuration, development, and integrations, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to wider company architecture.
  • Introduce and embed modern engineering and DevOps practices within the Salesforce team (e.g. version control, CI/CD, automated testing, release management).
  • Lead the transition from low-code / functional configuration towards more integrated and automation-enabled Salesforce use cases (including future adoption of Agentforce).
  • Coach and mentor redeployed internal staff (functional consultants, IT ops profiles) to accelerate their transition into effective Salesforce platform roles.
