We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven PMO Analyst to join a leading international bank based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a Programme Management Office, supporting high-profile initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated, and globally connected environment.
As a PMO Analyst, you will provide essential support to the Programme Management Office team, ensuring effective governance, accurate reporting, and smooth programme delivery. You will be responsible for tracking the status of programme deliverables and milestones, coordinating programme-level risks and issues, and supporting the consistent adoption of the project lifecycle, standards, and required deliverables across the portfolio.
A core part of the role will involve coordinating regular project and programme reporting cycles, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality information is available to stakeholders. You will monitor the status of projects transitioning into business-as-usual, supporting a controlled and well-governed handover into normal service. You'll also play a key role in coordinating project governance arrangements, including steering committees, post-project reviews, and programme-level workshops.
You will work closely with the PMO Manager, assisting with the definition, maintenance, and continuous improvement of project management processes, standards, and governance frameworks. In addition, you will support Project Managers on large and complex initiatives, contribute to quality reviews, and coordinate activities that support broader quality objectives across the programme.
Strong technical capability is essential for this role. You must be highly confident using Confluence and Jira to manage documentation, track progress, and support transparent reporting. You will also be comfortable supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including coordinating testing cycles, tracking defects, and ensuring readiness for release.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and professional manner.
This role is ideal for an experienced PMO Analyst who is available to start immediately and is looking to further their career within a respected international banking environment. In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of Β£28,000 plus benefits, alongside the opportunity to work on impactful programmes within a collaborative and professional team. If you're ready to make an immediate contribution and thrive in a PMO-focused role, we'd love to hear from you.
