We are seeking a Mid-Level Security Solutions Engineer to support the delivery of secure and resilient technology solutions across our client Financial Product business unit. You will act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, product teams, and business leaders, ensuring security and resilience are embedded into all aspects of change and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key product areas, business units, customer partners, third parties, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Gain and apply an in-depth understanding of aligned technologies, data, business processes, and strategic direction.
  • Remain informed of the security and resilience landscape across your assigned business units, including incidents, change programmes, and resource requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on cyber security, resilience, privacy controls, and risk management in line with business responsibilities and regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure that security and resilience are integrated into business unit plans and delivery frameworks.
  • Guide product teams on how to deliver change effectively while maintaining security and compliance standards.
  • Apply threat modelling, data protection principles, and risk frameworks to business solutions.
  • Promote the use of enterprise standards, guardrails, and architectural patterns where appropriate.
  • Share knowledge with peers and wider teams to strengthen overall security capability.

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar role within cyber security, IT risk, or resilience engineering.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, threat modelling, and data protection regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation.
  • Passionate about emerging trends in technology and operating models, including Lean IT, cloud adoption, and continuous delivery.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Resilient, collaborative, and a natural problem solver.
