Business Analyst (Data / Data Migration & Transformation)£500 per day (Outside IR35) 6-Month Contract Fully Remote with Occasional Travel to London/Manchester We're currently seeking experienced Data Business Analysts to join a major transformation programme. This is an exciting opportunity to support a large-scale data and system transformation, helping to define data requirements, improve data processes, and support critical discovery activities. Key Responsibilities Lead discovery activities to understand and document current ("as-is") data processes, flows, and sources. Define future-state ("to-be") data processes, governance, and reporting requirements. Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and data requirements. Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technical teams to understand data challenges and opportunities. Support data migration, integration, and transformation activities. Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts, process maps, data dictionaries, and documentation. Essential Experience Proven experience working as a Data Business Analyst on data transformation, migration, or system implementation programmes. Strong requirements gathering, data mapping, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills. Experience documenting both as-is and to-be processes and data flows. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management. Experience working with large datasets and liaising with technical delivery teams. Desirable Experience Experience supporting cloud, analytics, or digital transformation programmes. Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, reporting tools, or data warehousing concepts. Experience working in regulated environments. Contract Details ~6-month contract ~ ASAP start ~ Outside IR35 ~ Fully remote , with occasional travel to UK offices (including London and Manchester).
