Sparta Global is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join one of our prestigious client partners Working within the companies Technology, Digital or Business Change teams, you will support the delivery of projects that enhance systems, processes and services across grassroots football, national competitions, digital platforms and operational functions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Business Analyst to gain experience within a world-renowned sporting organisation while developing core consulting and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities Gather, document and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across the FA.
Support workshops, interviews and meetings to understand business challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
Produce high-quality project documentation including: Business requirements documents (BRDs) User stories Process maps Use cases Workshop outputs Acceptance criteria Assist in defining current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers and Test Analysts to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
Support stakeholder engagement activities and communicate project updates effectively.
Perform process analysis to identify efficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to business cases and change initiatives.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
Manage actions, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies through project governance documentation.
Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups and backlog refinement.
Analyse data and produce reports that support decision-making and project outcomes.
These responsibilities align with Sparta's Business Analyst capability framework including stakeholder management, requirements engineering, business process improvement, workshop facilitation and change delivery.
