Business Analyst – International Bank
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: ÂŁ28,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading international bank based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially aware analyst to work in a dynamic, global environment, supporting key business initiatives and delivering high-quality analysis that drives informed decision-making.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, analyse data, and present clear, actionable insights. You will play a key role in translating complex information into meaningful outputs, supporting both operational and strategic priorities.
Strong Excel expertise is essential for this role. You will be confident providing basic-level training and guidance, including formatting cells, organising data effectively, and applying consistent colour schemes and font usage. You\’ll use Pivot Tables to analyse large data sets, apply Lookups such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP, and demonstrate strong user experience principles through tools such as freeze panes, lists, and conditional formatting. You\’ll ensure data is logically structured through chronological ordering, sorting and filtering, and apply both basic formulas (SUM, COUNT, etc.) and more advanced formulas, including IF and nested IF statements. A solid understanding of primary linking fields, such as unique employee IDs, will be key when working across multiple data sources.
You will also bring strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise and compelling presentations for a range of audiences. This includes delivering clear messaging, maintaining consistent formatting, and \”starting with the end in mind\” to ensure presentations are outcome-focused. You\’ll be skilled at displaying data cleanly and effectively, enabling stakeholders to quickly grasp insights and recommendations.
The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working at pace in a regulated, international banking environment. You\’ll have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
This role is ideal for an experienced Business Analyst who is available to start immediately and is looking to develop their career within a respected global financial institution. In return, you\’ll receive a competitive salary of £28,000 plus benefits, along with the opportunity to work on meaningful projects in a collaborative and professional environment.
If you\’re ready to hit the ground running and make an impact, we\’d love to hear from you.
