About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of technology, data, and transformation initiatives within a complex client environment.

You'll lead delivery teams and workstreams, ensuring outcomes are achieved to agreed scope, quality, timescales, and governance standards while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more delivery teams or workstreams, ensuring successful delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Coordinate resources, priorities, dependencies, and delivery activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Establish and maintain delivery governance, reporting, and control processes.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Monitor delivery performance, quality measures, and project milestones.
  • Provide clear reporting and regular updates to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed standards, methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices and team performance.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on successful client outcomes

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 8-12 years' experience delivering Technology, Data, or Business Transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience leading delivery teams within complex client-facing environments.
  • Strong delivery management and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engaging senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery governance.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic objectives with day-to-day delivery execution.
  • Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable

  • PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, PMP, or equivalent delivery certification.
  • Experience working within public sector or regulated environments.
  • Experience delivering large-scale digital, technology, or transformation programmes.
  • Previous exposure to security-cleared environments.
