What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily and weekly task management and workload planning.
- Support our Farm Manager to prepare and deliver an operational plan.
- Collaborate and support colleagues and learners ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed.
- Lead by example on implementing procedures and controls.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience of rearing beef animals and dairy replacements (breeding planning).
- Extensive experience of milking and herd care (including development of herd health plans).
- Experience of robotic and conventional milking systems.
- Full understanding of the required standards of livestock health and welfare.
- Understanding of animal nutrition to include forage requirements.
