Are you passionate about mentoring the next generation of Farmers? This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful team at Sparsholt College. We are seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day operation of Garston’s Farm.
The Farm Manager will lead on implementing procedures and controls, be responsible for overseeing all crop and livestock husbandry and production and be responsible for liaising with DEFRA and other regulatory authorities regarding all aspects of farm administration.
We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in a supervisory or management role, full understanding of the required standards of livestock health and welfare and who can deliver cost effective crop production and actively seek new and improved ways of working.
The role will support the college to deliver its strategic plan for the farm alongside ensuring learners receive support to succeed.
