Trading Assistant

We’re looking for a detail-orientated and proactive Trading Assistant to join our head office Trading team based in Dundee. This role is vital in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of key retail trading activities across our estate of company owned and independent stores. Working closely with multiple departments, you’ll help ensure consistent execution of operational plans, promotional activity, and in-store communications to deliver growth in sales and profit.

About the Role…

• Support the coordination and rollout of trading and operational initiatives across all retail locations.

• New product administration including form completion and working with internal teams and suppliers.

• Assist with creating and distributing store communications, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

• Liaise with stores and field teams to respond to queries and provide operational guidance.

• Work with our local Scottish suppliers to deliver both a National and Scottish plan for our stores.

• Monitor trading and compliance activity to help ensure brand standards are met.

• Help collate and analyse store feedback and trading data for reporting purposes.

• Support seasonal and promotional activity set up, including critical path tracking.

• Ensure documentation and resources are up-to-date and accessible for store teams.

About you…

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• A team player who can also work independently.

• Previous retail or head office operations experience is desirable but not essential.

• Proficient in retail management systems, POS and Microsoft Excel.
