As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day. Through our play-based learning philosophy, we are constantly reminded of the wondrous world we live in. You might sing Johnny works with One Hammer, become a magician, or a gardener. Of course, you will also be responsible for compliance-related tasks such as safety checks, communicating with families, recording children's progress, routines, and interests—all while creating a safe, supportive space where children thrive.
What you’ll need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Experience in engaging children through activities like treasure hunts, potion making, and singing loudly with little ones
- Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current & Valid Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
