As a Studio Assistant Educator, there will never be a typical day. Through our play-based learning philosophy, we are constantly reminded of the wondrous world we live in. You could go from singing Johnny works with One Hammer to being a magician or gardener. Of course, you will still be responsible for all compliance-related tasks like safety checks, communicating with families, recording children's progress, routines, and interests—while creating a safe, supportive space where children thrive.
Our centre prides itself on the strong relationships we build with families, encouraging their input and involvement within the centre and community. Our aim is to provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment with natural play spaces for children to explore using their sensory capabilities. We wish to encourage, inspire, and extend each child's learning, helping prepare them for the transition to school and life.
