We are currently seeking a creative individual to join our school community, providing support to children with SEND needs. Previous experience is not necessary for this role! As an actor/actress, you bring a wealth of transferable skills to the table, including proficiency in role-playing.
SEND Needs: Autism, ADHD, Down's Syndrome and Moderate Learning Difficulties
SEMH Needs: Anxiety, Depression and Trauma
Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, reinforcing targets, offering supervision and support as needed, and maintaining consistent routines for the children. A calm and positive attitude is essential, as is a proactive approach to building relationships with the children.
While experience working with children is preferred, it is not essential for this role; a creative and positive mindset is a must.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 support to children with special needs and lower ability levels.
- Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Assisting in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive learning experiences.
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Working closely with teachers to ensure the learning needs of each child are met effectively.

- No prior school experience required – we’ll provide online training to equip you with the skills you need.
- Graduates or those with transferable skills in areas like childcare, psychology, or social care are encouraged to apply.
