SparkEd Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking school in the Plymouth area to recruit Behaviour Support Assistants to work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Students may present with SEMH needs such as challenging behaviour, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience. While previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour is beneficial, it is not essential due to the supportive training provided.
Who We’re Looking For:- Individuals with a flexible, positive attitude and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- No previous school-based experience required – comprehensive online training will be provided
- Graduates or candidates with transferable experience in childcare, psychology, social care, or similar fields are encouraged to apply
