We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Politics Teacher to cover lessons from 22nd April 2025 until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Role Overview:

We urgently need a Part-Time Politics Teacher to cover politics lessons for Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until the end of the academic year. The position will provide you with the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative school environment while making an impact on students' understanding of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Politics to Key Stage 4 (KS4) students, ensuring the delivery of engaging and informative lessons.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that inspire critical thinking, encourage political discussion, and promote a deeper understanding of political structures and processes.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement and development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported in their learning.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Politics Teacher with experience teaching at secondary level, specifically Key Stage 4.
  • The ability to teach Politics effectively, with a strong knowledge of the subject matter and an enthusiasm for engaging students in political topics.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a productive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 22nd April 2025 through to the end of the academic year in July 2025.
