About the Role

SparkEd Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and progressive school in Plymouth to appoint SEND Learning Mentors supporting pupils across Key Stages 1–4. This position involves providing tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular emphasis on those facing Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, working closely with individuals who may experience behavioural difficulties, anxiety, depression, or the impact of trauma.

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from individuals at all stages of their career. Previous experience working with young people—particularly those with additional needs or challenging behaviour—is advantageous but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
