About the Role
SparkEd Recruitment is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive schools across Exeter to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Learning Mentors for flexible temporary and day-to-day supply opportunities. This rewarding position offers the chance to support pupils across Key Stages 1–4, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals. Assignments can range from single-day cover to short-term placements, providing flexibility and variety within different educational settings.
As a SEND Learning Mentor, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role will be key in helping young people overcome barriers to learning while encouraging both academic progress and personal development. Whether you are looking to build experience within education or seeking a flexible role that makes a meaningful difference, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.
