SparkEd Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Redruth to recruit committed Classroom Assistants. This is an opportunity to support students across Key Stages 1 to 4 and play a meaningful role in their development.
As a SEND Classroom Assistant, you will provide vital support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people
- Eager to learn and develop, with full training provided
- From backgrounds such as childcare, psychology, youth work, or social care (graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Patient, resilient, and committed to supporting students with complex needs, including Autism and ADHD
- Previous experience working with young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour is beneficial but not essential.
