Senior solution quality leadership role | Owning end-to-end solution quality assurance at a pivotal point of platform evolution.
At SPARK TSL, our mission is simple: making life better, with connections that matter. We build technology solutions that operate in regulated, real-world environments where reliability, security, and quality genuinely matter — not just to customers, but to the people who depend on our systems every day.
We are evolving from a feature-focused development model to a managed solution and AI centric delivery model. As development velocity increases, QA must evolve alongside it. This is not a traditional feature-level testing role. This is a senior position responsible for solution quality across the organisation.
If you’re looking for a role where quality has real consequences, where AI and automation are key, and where your judgement genuinely shapes outcomes — this is an opportunity to make your mark.
Why SPARK TSL?
- Purpose and impact - Technology that supports real-world services and improves lives
- Platform evolution - The opportunity to shape next-generation platforms while modernising live products
- Authority and ownership - A senior role empowered to gate solution release and define quality standards
- Organisational exposure - Direct interaction with Product, Sales, Operations and executive leadership
- Technical breadth - Solution-level testing across software, hardware, networks, firmware and user experience
- AI-enabled innovation - The opportunity to embed automation, AI-assisted testing and modern QA frameworks
- A professional, accountable culture - Where quality underpins customer trust and commercial success
Your impact
The Senior QA Engineer will act as the authority on solution quality, positioned between Development, Product, Sales and Operations. This role ensures that no solution is deployed, demonstrated, or delivered without structured validation and approval. Our solutions span:
- Software platforms
- Physical hardware and peripherals
- Connectivity and network environments
- Deployment models and real-world installation constraints
These solutions operate in healthcare and industrial environments where reliability, stability, and compliance are critical.
Who this role suits
This role will suit someone who:
- Has strong technical credibility across software and hardware testing
- Understands solution-level validation beyond feature testing
- Is comfortable acting as an independent quality gate
- Can challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders
- Has experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, CI/CD integration)
- Is interested in AI-assisted testing and modern QA tooling
- Thrives in high-accountability, cross-functional environments
- Brings calm judgement and structured decision-making
Be primarily on-site in Bristol (minimum 4 days per week). On-site presence ensures continuous access to full solution configurations. This is a role where authority, clarity and credibility matter as much as technical skill.
