About Webigence and Spark Travel. Webigence has 25 years of experience crafting UX‑first, often highly complex software. Our engineers pair forward‑thinking agile practices with an obsession for intuitive design, shipping products that feel effortless even when the logic underneath is anything but. Alongside a handful of long‑standing third‑party clients, we’re scaling our own SaaS product—Spark Travel—at pace. Spark Travel itself is on a mission to drag the tailor‑made travel industry into the 21st century. Our cloud‑native platform unifies sales, supplier contracting, dynamic pricing, and on‑trip operations—everything from the first quote to the traveller’s safe return. The market is huge, the incumbents are slow, and we already have meaningful traction: roughly 35 customers and an accelerating sign‑up pace, a very healthy sales pipeline, and a roadmap brimming with genuinely novel features. With a fantastic existing team across engineering, product, customer success, marketing, and sales, we’re gearing up for hyper‑growth.

We’re now looking for a detail-driven QA Analyst who’s passionate about ensuring that what ships actually works—beautifully, consistently, and reliably.

Role Snapshot

Junior / Mid QA Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Verify application functionality against requirements / acceptance criteria.
  • Test usability, stability, and performance across the stack including Angular-based front-ends, API-based backends, and databases.
  • Perform root cause analysis on test failures and system issues.
  • Help develop and maintain automated test suites.
  • Work closely with Developers and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Customer Success.
Required skills
  • Manual testing of web-based systems.
  • API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
  • In-depth understanding of QA process and software development life cycle.
  • Understanding CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
Preferred skills
  • Experience of test automation platforms — ideally Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms — ideally Azure.

You might be our Junior/Mid QA Analyst if… You have a 2:1 degree in Computer Science (or a related discipline) and 2+ years of hands-on experience testing web-based systems. You’re confident in manual and API testing, comfortable with basic SQL, and have a solid understanding of QA processes within modern software delivery environments. You’re curious, methodical, have great attention to detail, and take pride in ensuring that what ships is stable, usable, and robust. You’re keen to build on your experience by learning more about automation, CI/CD, and cloud-based platforms—and you value working in a collaborative environment where quality is a shared responsibility.
